The use of mineral based make-up post procedure is permissible after 24hours.

Sleep on your back with head of bed elevated to minimize swelling or pain as needed. Immediately after your medical micro-needling procedure, your health care provider will apply a cocktail infusion of active and supportive ingredients. This is bespoke to each individual.

Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen Motrin or advil for 1 week. Do not ice face or use arnica or bromelain. These agents may interfere with the natural inflammatory process that is critical and responsible for your skin rejuvenation. Avoid sun tanning and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for 2week. After 48hours, always use a full spectrum sun protecting factor. When exposed to sun, wear a hat and apply sunscreen every 2 hours.

A post treatment is recommended to achieve best results and further stimulate collagen and elastin production 24-48hour post needling.

DAY 1-2

A sunburn-like effect is normal, the skin will feel tight, dry and sensitive to touch. Treat skin gently washing with a gentle cleanser that is anti bacterial and anti microbial, cool water, using hands only pat dry no earlier than 4 hours after treatment. Redness or sensitivity might be present during this time. Some small bruising is common, it may last up to 5-7 days and swelling can last 2-4 days depending on how aggressive of a treatment you received.

DAY 3-4

Peeling may start 3-5 days after treatment. You will notice skin dryness and flaking. This is due to an increased turnover of skin cells. Do not pick, scratch or scrub as this will disrupt the processes. Allow old skin to flake off naturally and keep moisturized at all times with the a Vitamin A Moisturiser and barrier support cream for extra dry skin every 2hours if needed.

DAY 5-7

You may restart your regular skin care products once your skin is no longer irritated. Many patients have noticed continued skin improvement for months following the last treatment.

For best results, we recommend follow up and repeat treatment in 4-6 weeks and a series of 4-6 treatments depending on your personalized care plan.

During the procedure, a device punctures the skin using a device that has fine surgical needles, creating controlled microinjuries. As these injuries heal, the body produces capillaries, collagen and elastin that reduce fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars.

In order to make the treatment comfortable, we apply a medical grade topical anesthetic to the skin for 45-60mins, we start the treatment by gliding the device over skin to create a micro, controlled injury, which stimulates the production of new healthy collagen. We apply a concentrated active serum based on client skin concerns.

We end the treatment by sterilizing the skin and applying an infused cocktail of active serums. We encourage clients to do a post needling treatment and LED light, to encourage healing and improve results.

Needling is suitable for almost all patients, specifically those with the following:

• Fine lines, wrinkles
• Enlarged pores
• Loss of elasticity
• Redness and vascularity
• Poor texture
• Acne scarring
• Surgical scars
• Stretch marks

Medical needling is an investment in your skin’s future. Results can take 9 months to fully appear as the body takes time to generate new collagen, immediate results once the skin is healed are smoothness, pore refinement and improved hydration. Maintenance is important to prevent the breakdown of collagen.

As a general guideline we classify patient concerns into 2 categories: corrective and prevention. Corrective is usually for patients with existing concerns that need to be improved and prevention is for patients who would like to prevent the signs of aging or patients who have undergone an intensive course of treatments and would like to maintain their results. Prevention is for patience’s trying to delay the process of ageing.

Corrective 6-8 months.

In order to make the treatment comfortable, we apply a medical grade topical anesthetic to the skin for 30min, we start the treatment by gliding the pen device over skin to create a micro, controlled injury, which stimulates the production of new healthy collagen. We apply a high quality Hyaluronic serum to the skin when we perform the needling to further increase hydration and youthfulness.

We end the treatment by infusing the skin with ingredients to generate healing; you are then put under an LED yellow light to encourage healing and improve the results of the treatment.
